InternMount St. Joseph University is seeking a Finance Department Intern to provide support for all areas within the Cincinnati Recreation Commission. The role involves reconciling cash receipts, comparing documentation, and inputting data into the general ledger.
Responsibilities
Reconciling cash receipts
Compare cash receipt documentation received from the Recreation Centers to what has been deposited in the bank
Write up cash receipts summary workpapers to reflect the appropriate accounting code to post to the general ledger
Input data from cash receipts summary into Excel general ledger
Research data in Rec Trac point of sale system and bank transaction journals
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled at Mt. St. Joseph University
Federal Work Study eligibility required
Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and meet deadlines
Well organized, punctual, and reliable
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic transactions and bank statements
Basic computer and Excel skills
