Responsibilities
Specialization: Team members are loosely specialized
Experience: General experience with hardware, software, and construction is required, with a preference for candidates with a strong software background
Project Management: General PM work, ideally with an IT background
Project Load: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, typically 8 to 12 projects per PM. The goal is to reduce this to 5-8 projects
Key Project: Likely to include replacing the redline system for the legal team
Communication: Strong communication skills with both technical and software teams
Applications: Involvement in business and clinical applications
Tools: Use of Teams for collaboration, Avanti for ticketing, and no PPM system
Methodology: Preference for using the Waterfall methodology
Location: Candidates should be local to Atlanta and expected to travel. Mileage and reimbursement are provided
Office: Home base is Atlantic Station
Project Duration: Typical project lifetime is 11 months
Qualification
Required
Experience: 3-5 years, including those who have worked as coordinators
Strong background in software
Healthcare IT experience
Project management background
5+ projects at a time
Ability to do 2 days on site
Great experience managing software/application projects communication
Certification: PMP
General experience with hardware, software, and construction is required, with a preference for candidates with a strong software background
