United IT is seeking an Application System Engineer to work with various teams to build an application environment. The role involves collaborating with the data team, understanding ETL processes, and ensuring effective API configurations and connections.

Responsibilities

Need someone with system/application engineering experience
Their core role is to work with the various teams to build an application environment
They need to have an understanding of applications and how they are generally architected
E.g. APIs are configured and connected by working with the different API gateways
Bulk transfer is working via SFT by working with the vendor and ETL team to have the necessary SFTP mailboxes created
Need to work with the ETL/Data team to ensure there is a data source available and the ETL jobs are built
As the jobs are built out, we need to document the process that was built

10+ Years Experience
API Knowledge
Working with Data team, Understand ETL
3rd party product experience
Custom Product experience
System/application engineering experience
Understanding of applications and how they are generally architected

Experience with bulk transfer via SFT by working with the vendor and ETL team
Ability to work with the ETL/Data team to ensure data source availability and ETL job building
Ability to document the process of built ETL jobs
