WuXi AppTec is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for CMC Project Management within STA Pharmaceutical. This role involves managing drug substance and drug product projects, leading them from proposal to completion while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Assist BD in preparing quotations/proposals with inputs from key stakeholders

Participate in the planning and implementation of projects. Establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements

Closely monitor/control project progression to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Report project progress to all key stakeholders

Support technical team to investigate potential issues and implement corrective measures

Serve as the liaison for client contacts and manage day-to-day communications

Represent company in project meetings, prepare meeting agenda and minutes, and follow through on action items

Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvements

Provide support to business development team by attending customer visits, conferences, or tradeshows

Required

Masters (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Must be bilingual (fluent in English and Mandarin)

Candidate should possess strong and effective project management, problem solving and interpersonal skills and have a proven track record working cross-functionally across a wide variety of technical, business, and operational areas

Demonstrate good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and small molecule drug development process

Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and highly flexible

Must be organized and detail-oriented

Proven experience in creating and carrying out successful plans and processes

Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)

Ability to use all Microsoft Office products

Ability to stand /Sit/walk for long periods of time

Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach

Ability to travel via plane or train
