Responsibilities
Own key components of the Search roadmap, focusing on improving relevance and ranking
Define and deliver features that enhance search quality and performance across multiple products and markets
Collaborate with machine learning teams to integrate models for ranking and personalization into production systems
Partner with UX and API teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent experiences
Monitor industry trends in search technologies (e.g., semantic search, vector search) and identify opportunities for innovation
Translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements and prioritize initiatives based on impact
Work cross-functionally to resolve dependencies and align stakeholders on product vision and goals
Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure success of search improvements
Qualification
Required
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in search, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer platforms
Ability to work with technical teams and understand concepts like APIs, data pipelines, and ML model integration
Proven track record of delivering impactful features in complex, cross-functional environments
Preferred
Strong understanding of search systems, ranking algorithms, or recommendation engines
Experience with personalization, semantic search, or vector-based retrieval
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in search
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Background in marketplaces, travel, or other high-volume consumer platforms
