They are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant responsible for developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, overseeing inventory reporting, and providing financial data to support management decision-making.

Responsibilities

Maintain cost accounting systems and support month‑end close, forecasting, and annual business planning activities in partnership with Operations and Supply Chain

Lead and manage all aspects of cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, cost roll-ups, variance analysis, and inventory valuation within Oracle and SAP ERP environments

Maintain and enhance product costing structures (BOMs, routings, work centers), ensuring accuracy and consistency across Oracle and SAP systems

Reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts, perform inventory analysis, and ensure accurate valuation in accordance with company policy

Act as a subject-matter expert for Oracle and SAP cost accounting modules, supporting system upgrades, integrations, and process enhancements

Prepare and distribute inventory and cost reports to management and cross‑functional stakeholders

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with five (5)+ or more years of related experience; cost accounting and/or manufacturing finance experience required

Strong knowledge of cost accounting systems, GAAP, and financial analysis; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience preparing and analyzing recurring financial and operational reports

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint

Strong communication and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
