Key Account Manager Automotive
Confidential company is seeking a Key Account Manager in the automotive sector to lead account development and penetration strategies. The role requires building and maintaining client relationships while providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on translating customer needs into product development.

Manage a portfolio of accounts
Develop positive relationship with clients and understand their strategic goals while spending time at customer sites
Translate Voice of the Customer into technology roadmaps and product development
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering; candidates without an engineering degree must have significant technical experience working directly with engineers on product‑specific technical topics
3–5+ years of individual‑contributor experience in sales, key account management, or business development for Automotive Tier 1 suppliers, with direct interaction and support of major OEM customers
Clear understanding of sales performance metrics
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
Strong Negotiation skills
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Flexible for travel within North America
Preferred
Direct OEM experience with Ford, Stellantis, GM, or Toyota is a plus and highly valued
