Responsibilities

Analyze preliminary pricing requests for commercial and industrial solar projects using Excel-based tools
Update and refine financial models as projects progress through development milestones
Build, maintain, and evaluate project-level pro forma financial statements
Assist with early-stage capital planning and financing within construction warehouse facilities
Assess offtaker credit quality through financial statement review and internal credit analysis
Develop internal credit summaries to support investment and financing decisions
Operate and manage advanced financial models to determine project valuation and acquisition pricing
Support business development efforts by advancing prospective solar projects toward term sheet execution
Serve as a key liaison between the Finance team and external capital partners on project structures and requirements
Track and interpret incentive programs, grants, SRECs, and other market mechanisms affecting project economics
Research emerging and existing markets to evaluate electricity pricing, capacity values, and related revenue streams
Monitor broader economic and energy market trends to inform financial assumptions
Integrate electricity pricing, capacity revenues, and other energy attributes into financial models

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, energy systems, or a closely related field
Hands-on experience supporting solar project finance or development work
Strong grasp of the market, technical, and economic fundamentals that influence solar and storage project viability
Practical familiarity with tax equity and debt financing structures used in renewable energy transactions
High level of proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, modeling, and scenario evaluation
Self-directed work style with the discipline to perform well in a fast-moving, high-demand environment
Results-focused mindset with a strong orientation toward problem solving and execution
Confidence to independently work through ambiguity while recognizing when to escalate questions or risks
Exceptional organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Clear, professional communicator with the ability to present information effectively in writing and conversation
Collaborative approach with the ability to work productively across diverse internal teams and external partners
Flexibility to take on new or shifting responsibilities as business priorities evolve
