Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Sr Buyer with a background in indirect services procurement and sourcing for an initial 3 month contract with a large, diversified client in South Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience with strategic sourcing and indirect procurement of professional services.

Work with internal business customers to define need for services

Draft RFP/RFI/RFQ's

Research vendors

Analyze proposals and quotes

Select or recommend suppliers

Negotiate pricing and contracts

Conduct supplier quality audits and address non-conformance issues of vendors

Supervise the preparation of orders

Schedule orders

Follow up on delivery dates

Draft scope of services

Required

5+ years of strategic sourcing and indirect procurement - sourcing and purchasing of services - professional services, systems, financial services, legal services, janitorial, construction, etc

Ability to work with internal business customers to define need for services

Experience with full lifecycle end to end indirect procurement of professional services - identifying suppliers, RFI/RFP, vendor evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and drafting scope of services

Strong negotiation and vendor selection and management skills

Experience with price/cost analysis

Strong communication and analytical skills

Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, ideally excel

Self starter and able to own projects end to end

Preferred

Ariba or similar procurement/sourcing software experience, specifically sourcing and contracts modules

Contracts experience

BS Degree

CPM or CPSM certification

Supply Chain experience

Power BI experience could be helpful
