Responsibilities

Serve as the administrative contact for department staff and faculty
Provide administrative and reception support to the department. This includes answering the main office phone line, distributing mail, submitting work orders, and maintaining the departmental keys
Work with the Department Chair on alumni outreach, crowd funding efforts, and donor thank you notes
Hire and supervise work study students for the department
Assist with department events as needed. These include open house, accepted student’s day, honors symposium, undergraduate convocation ceremony, awards ceremony (may include processing awards and notifying students)

Ability to serve as the administrative contact for department staff and faculty
Experience providing administrative and reception support

Experience hiring and supervising work study students
Ability to assist with department events as needed
