Videographer and Social Media Manager

Meela Inc. is dedicated to bridging the gap for older adults who feel isolated in a digital world. They are seeking a Videographer & Social Media Manager to create engaging video content and manage social media strategies that communicate the impact of their innovative AI companion.

Responsibilities

Produce one polished, long-form video each month (founder updates, product stories, or on-site footage)
Create 2–3 short video clips per week derived from that core content
Own the full content workflow: planning, filming, editing, and publishing
Execute Meela’s existing social media strategy and provide input as it evolves
Focus primarily on LinkedIn and Instagram; YouTube Shorts may be added over time
Work closely with the founding team to turn product updates, pilots, and on-the-ground moments into clear content
Capture content on-site in NYC and occasionally at partner locations

Required

Strong video production and editing skills, with good judgment around tone and storytelling
Experience creating video-first content for social platforms
Organized and dependable, with the ability to work against a planned content cadence
Comfortable executing a defined strategy while offering thoughtful input

Interest in healthcare, aging, or mission-driven work is a plus

Benefits

30–40 hours per week for the first three months as a 1099 contract role.
