They are seeking a motivated Asphalt Plant Quality Control Technician to support their production team by testing materials, monitoring asphalt quality, and ensuring compliance with project and state specifications.

Responsibilities
Perform asphalt and material tests in both lab and field environments
Monitor plant production to ensure quality standards are met
Collect asphalt samples and conduct density testing, including core samples
Maintain accurate documentation and complete daily quality reports
Work closely with plant teams, inspectors, and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Strong math skills
HMA Level 1 and Asphalt Roadway Technician certifications, or willingness to obtain
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or with a team
Willingness to work weekends and/or nights as needed
Preferred
1–3 years of asphalt testing experience preferred (not required)
