Responsibilities

Serve as the primary legal advisor on FERC regulatory matters

Provide practical, business-oriented guidance that connects regulatory requirements to commercial and operational realities

Support significant pipeline growth initiatives, including more than $3 billion in recently approved capital projects

Work closely with commercial, operations, and leadership teams to identify compliant paths forward

Manage outside counsel and participate in FERC proceedings, negotiations, and regulatory strategy development

Required

Deep FERC natural gas pipeline experience

Significant working knowledge of FERC policy related to tariffs, certificates, and rates

Direct experience prosecuting Section 4 rate cases

Strong command of FERC certificate rules and regulations

Experience with NGA Section 7 certificate applications, including rate design

Natural gas pipeline regulatory experience

Preferred

Houston-based candidates are preferred

Washington, DC–based candidates will be considered

Participate in regular virtual meetings with Houston-based teams

Travel to DC approximately three to six times per year, potentially more during active rate cases

Benefits

Short-Term Incentive (STI) ranging from 20%–40%

401(k) retirement plan with a 6% company match immediately and an additional 4% company contribution after one year of service (for a total employer contribution of up to 10%)
