Mid Market Account Executive - San Francisco
Obsidian Security is a company focused on securing SaaS applications, backed by prominent investors. They are seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to acquire accounts in the healthcare, finance, and high-tech sectors, expanding market share and developing best practices for the team.

Responsibilities
Acquire accounts where security and compliance problems are most prevalent and consequential: Healthcare, Finance and high-tech in organizations with 1k-3k employees
Expand market share and develop best practices for future teams selling into this target market
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience selling Mid-Market SaaS solutions
Strong background in hunting and an exceptional ability to map out and break into greenfield accounts
Results driven and able to demonstrate a proven track record of over attainment in hunting new business
Strong work ethic and a desire to be exceptional
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity around outbound activities
A strong sales aptitude and fundamental understanding of the sales process
A+ discovery skills to uncover/discover customer problems and pain
Technical aptitude and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
Ability to thrive in a fast paced start up environment
Strong communication skills, both in person and via virtual channels
Understanding of how to leverage other departments including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product and Customer Success
A team player who can embody the Obsidian values
Must be willing to commute to our San Francisco office a minimum of 3 days per week
