Voucher Compliance & Reporting Specialist
The Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) is dedicated to addressing affordable housing and homelessness in Clark County. The Voucher Compliance & Reporting Specialist ensures the integrity of the Voucher Program by aligning processes with VHA and HUD guidelines while performing audits and creating reports.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Administer the internal audit process to provide timely and consistent oversight of Voucher Program files and procedures, ensuring all documents and procedures related to eligibility determination and level of assistance are complete, timely, and accurate as outlined in VHA and HUD guidelines
Create and maintain audit reports that outline targeted versus actual error rates, and create department performance reports
Review, revise, and create forms under the direction of the Voucher Compliance Reporting Supervisor, Voucher Programs Director, and Chief Operating Officer to meet department needs
Prepare PIC and EIV reports/submissions
Prepare and analyze Elite reports to track various items of the department's needs
Create and maintain desk manuals for the positions within the department
Create training plans for the positions within the department
Qualification
Required
High school diploma plus some higher-level education or vocational training specializing in office skills and/or housing related subjects plus at least 4 years of directly related experience or equivalent required
Demonstrated computer skills necessary to effectively complete duties
Preferred
AA or BA in Social Service or related field strongly preferred
Previous housing experience desirable
