Responsibilities
Underwrite complex E&S Property risks across primary, quota share, layered, and excess placements
Manage a profitable portfolio of new and renewal business
Evaluate, negotiate, and structure manuscript forms and coverage terms
Collaborate with internal leadership on portfolio strategy, planning, and growth initiatives
Serve as a senior mentor and technical resource for underwriters within the team
Maintain strong visibility with wholesale broker partners
Contribute to underwriting culture, discipline, and market leadership
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Commercial E&S Property underwriting experience
Proven ability to underwrite 100%, shared, layered, and excess structures
Strong market awareness and sound underwriting judgment
Experience working with wholesale brokers
Ability to balance production, portfolio management, and leadership responsibilities
