Responsibilities
Design and develop complex Ab Initio graphs and plans utilizing the Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and the Co-Operating System
Manage the Enterprise Meta Environment (EME), including version control, object promotion, and lineage tracking for all data assets
Perform deep-dive tuning of Ab Initio graphs to handle multi-terabyte datasets, focusing on parallel processing, MFS (Multi-File System) optimization, and resource utilization
Utilize PDL (Parameter Definition Language) and Metaprogramming to build dynamic, reusable components and frameworks
Design and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure the accuracy and reliability of high-volume data streams across the organization
Configure and maintain production job schedules using Control Center or enterprise schedulers (e.g., Autosys, Airflow)
Partner with Data Architects and Business Stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into techno-functional specifications and efficient data models
Qualification
Required
Highly skilled in Ab Initio development
Experience in designing and implementing high-performance ETL solutions
Ability to architect complex, scalable data pipelines using the full Ab Initio suite
Experience with the Graphical Development Environment (GDE)
Experience with the Co-Operating System
Manage the Enterprise Meta Environment (EME)
