Responsibilities

Coordinate, facilitate, and conduct all training programs for Delta Community staff across a variety of formats including in-person, virtual, hands-on, and/or recurrent training
Coordinate the dissemination of policy or operational changes to department staff and partners
Actively participate in the creation and execution of ongoing recurrent training initiatives including podcasts, internal social media postings, monthly newsletter, in-person huddles/team meetings, etc
Effectively facilitate hands-on training opportunities both in our training labs and during on-the-job training
Evaluate and monitor employee learning and absorption of content trained
Participate in the preparation of all resources ahead of training sessions, and in post-session wrap-up activities
Challenge the status quo and stay abreast of industry and training best practices
Learn and be able to conduct all Foundational training classes (Teller, Member Service Agent, and Member Care Center)
Knowledgeable in all levels of technology training delivery (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Webinars, etc.)
Crosstrain to be certified to teach in multiple subject areas in order to provide effective employee and member service training and support
Collaborate with Corporate Training – Design & Development team on the creation of new training materials, as well as routine maintenance of existing materials
Collaborate with Corporate Training – Retail Engagement team on delivering co-facilitated sessions either in-person or virtual
Manage time effectively to stay on-track with classroom training agendas and/or facilitator guides
Effectively utilize and adhere to facilitator guides and other training materials
Monitor, document, and address any learning and/or personnel issues arising during class, in partnership with Corporate Training management
Consistently demonstrate Delta Community’s core values: flexibility, integrity, dedication, ownership, and diversity
Work periodically in operational areas supported by Corporate Training to enhance knowledge among the team and end users
Travel to branch locations as well as off-site training required
Perform additional duties as assigned and work in other departments and branches as required

Required

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years' banking, credit union, or financial services industry or 2+ years' classroom or virtual facilitation experience
Must be organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
Must be adaptable to change
Must be flexible in workday in order to schedule training for early or late shifts and possibly Saturdays
Must be able to travel to other branch locations as well as off-site training, which may require several consecutive days out of town
Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
1+ years' Call Center experience
6+ months' Delta Community experience with products, services, policies and procedures
Strong understanding of adult learning theories and pedagogies
Symitar experience and MSP experience
Strong operational experience, work experience and documented success in at least 2 or more of the following roles: Teller, Assistant Head Teller, Head Teller, Manager/Assistant Manager, Deposit and Loan Accounts, and/or Call Center Representative
Previous training experience in retail banking and/or financial products and services
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power Point
