Tennessee Valley Authority is offering a Summer 2026 Internship/Co-Op for engineering students. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers in various fields such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering to gain practical experience and understand the TVA's business operations.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, key decision makers, business processes and procedures. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with leaders and team members while learning the key components that drive their business unit’s strategic direction

Develop working knowledge of critical business functions as outlined by the intern’s manager and business unit

Learn to apply policies and procedures across the organizations: recommend continuous improvement changes in support of business needs and proactively develop an understanding of policies, procedures, and culture and communicate these to new and existing employees
