Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Provide guidance on technical issues, architecture, and best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and customer support, to align technical initiatives with business objectives
Develop and implement technical strategies that support the company's goals, driving innovation and efficiency
Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for technical projects, ensuring effective use of resources
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and project success, implementing improvements as needed
Identify potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a technical role
At least 2 years in a management or leadership position
Proficiency in plastics and injection molding machines (ex. Engel, Toshiba, Van Dorn)
Experience with project management methodologies and tools
Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions
Must adhere to all required PPE
Conduct him/herself in a safe manner
Preferred
Master's degree is a plus
