Sales Operations Manager

Auris, formerly Heartland, is a payroll and HR partner for small and medium-sized businesses, aiming to provide seamless human-centered technology. Responsibilities

Serve as a primary Salesforce partner for the sales organization, including reporting, process improvements, training documentation and user support
Partner with Training department and enablement programs for both inside and field sales teams to ensure process documentation, adoption and receive feedback as needed for improvement
Develop and maintain clear process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to drive consistency and scalability
Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to align systems, processes, and handoffs
Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, territory management, and quota processes
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and friction points in sales workflows and recommend solutions
Manage onboarding for new sales hires from a systems and process perspective
Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams by proactively identifying opportunities to improve productivity and effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Sales, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
4–7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related role
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce, including configuration, reporting, and user support
Proven experience developing and delivering sales training and enablement programs
Experience supporting both inside sales and field sales teams
Solid understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM best practices
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as needed
Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to design, document, and optimize scalable sales workflows
Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in training and change management settings
Ability to translate business objectives into effective sales processes and system configurations
High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and operational excellence
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
Comfort managing change and driving adoption of new processes and tools
Collaborative, customer-centric mindset with a focus on improving the end-to-end customer journey

Preferred

Experience with sales enablement tools (Gong, Salesforce, etc.), contract lifecycle tools, or CPQ systems is a plus
