Collecting and organizing data

Preparing calculations

Preparing charts and graphs

Modeling using Excel or hydraulic modeling software

Preparing drawings

Backcheck drawing/technical memoranda corrections

Writing portions of technical memoranda

Researching technical information

Proposal and resume writing

Client interactions

Presentations

Note taking

Field investigations

Coordinating production of reports

Support of design documents (plans and specifications)

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in college/university and/or on summer break between semesters

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Good communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations

Positive attitude with strong relationship building skills

Flexibility to learn new skills

Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within the team

Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed

Good MS Office skills including Word and Excel

Preferred

Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D a plus

PowerPoint a plus
