Responsibilities

Analyzing, consulting with, and providing direction to all levels of staff and management on all aspects of the State purchasing process

Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, as well as state policies and procedures

Reviewing and analyzing complex purchasing requests, including IT (Information Technology) products and services, to determine the appropriate method for acquisition

Required

Strong writing and analytical skills

Experience in but not limited to procuring goods and services and creating/reviewing requests for quotes, requests for offers, scopes of work, budgeting information, std. 213/215

Knowledge of and ability to apply federal and state legislation, statutes and regulations related to procurements and services

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential assignments with tact, discretion and diplomacy

Be flexible in adapting to changes in priorities, assignments and other interruptions which may impact pre-established time lines and courses of action

Experience in creating and/or updating Procedures, Guides and/or Cost reports

Experience in but not limited to Fi$Cal, Office 365, Microsoft Excel

The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired
