Responsibilities
Required to pick orders as assigned by Warehouse Management
Required to verify the accuracy of the order and sign the pick ticket
Must ensure product is leveled after picking at the end of each shift
Must be able to pick with accuracy. The pick ticket order accuracy goal is 100% to ensure ASN compliance
Build mixed pallets according to loading documentation to be placed on delivery vehicles
Responsible for verification of date codes
Responsible for accuracy of pallets built
Required to load and unload trucks by hand as required by supervisor
May load and unload trucks by forklift, if certified
Ensure work area is kept clean and clear of debris
Restock returned product
Responsible for handling and stacking of pallets and trays
Responsible for applying shrink wrap to completed pallets either by hand or by machine
Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules
May assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse
Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Must be able to be Forklift Certified by Buffalo Rock Company
Requires basic knowledge of equipment /tools needed to fulfill the needs of the essential tasks
