Responsibilities

Quality assurance: A strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, security, performance, and reliability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineers, to ensure the final product meets all requirements and appropriate testing has been planned

Translate business requirements into quality specifications and provide quality direction for the product team

Leadership: Ability to guide technical teams to ensure solutions are built with a quality mindset

Continuously improve software engineering practices

Oversee and ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix, and bug reporting

Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies

Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutions

Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity

Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
