Electrical/Instrument Maintenance (All Levels)
Domtar is a leading producer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue, and wood products, dedicated to safety and sustainability. They are seeking safety-oriented individuals of all skill levels for the Electrical and Instrumentation department at their Plymouth, North Carolina mill, where the primary function is to maintain equipment and troubleshoot operational problems.

Responsibilities
Perform tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and other variables in manufacturing and processing
Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturer’s specifications
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports
Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes
Consult with and advise process operators
Qualification
Required
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Successful completion of technical electrical assessment
Available to work varying hours that may include shift, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond to emergency call-ins
Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Wear the required personal protective equipment
Work in industrial conditions (i.e., warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or working at heights with proper safety training and safety protection
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in the Electrical or Instrumentation field or one years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in the Electrical or Instrumentation field and one year related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience or three years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in the Electrical or Instrumentation field and two years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience or five years related industrial electrical/instrumentation experience
