Truck Technician

Responsibilities

Diagnosing failures and recommending appropriate repair procedures primarily for Peterbilt vehicles
Completing the repair as instructed and providing customers the best possible service, by complying with dealership and factory standards
Keeping the vehicle in a neat and clean condition and following all safety measures
Reporting any issues to management immediately
Providing mentorship to less-skilled technicians

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
A vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair is required
Four to six years of related experience or training required or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred

CDL license recommended
MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid-Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission certifications preferred
