Responsibilities

Plan, perform and coordinate the administrative and financial support activities for assigned faculty member(s) and associated research group(s) as part of a shared services environment
Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations
This position will interact on a regular basis with: multidisciplinary faculty
This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, research faculty, staff, students, and administrators
This position will supervise: assigned support staff and students

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven to nine years of job related experience
Skills in financial record keeping, report writing, communications, and customer service

Preferred

University experience, particularly in an academic research environment is preferred
Supervisory and organization skills highly desired
Working knowledge related to support of research project teams with specific experience in grant accounting, budgeting and reporting is preferred
Skills in records management, conference and event planning
Master's Degree
