Responsibilities
Develops and implements maintenance schedules to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
Supports installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure
Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and determines appropriate course of action (e.g. repairing or replacing equipment components)
Installs, replaces, or repairs machine parts and attachments, according to specifications
Collaborate with other staff to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment
Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Manages inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies
Conducts cost-benefit and ROI analyses for maintenance-related capital expenditures
Coordinates with external maintenance vendors and contractors, as necessary
Provides on-the-job training to other maintenance personnel on basic equipment maintenance (e.g. machine lubrication, parts replacement, routing inspections, etc.)
Helps lead facility infrastructure projects (e.g. new site expansions, building remodeling/improvements)
Coordinates with third-party maintenance vendors and monitors services provided
Performs minor building repairs (e.g. fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, repairing door handles, patching minor wall damage, etc.)
Manages safety training programs related equipment (e.g. forklifts, scissor lifts, and yard trucks)
Tracks expenditures through the PO process (e.g. order dates, quantities, unit prices, etc.)
Performs other duties as directed by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in maintenance, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
Proven experience repairing machinery
Mechanical, electrical, and control systems knowledge
Safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance knowledge
Drawings and schematics knowledge
Project management principles knowledge
Basic Computer (Microsoft Office Suite) skills
Strong Communication skills
Attention to detail skills
Problem Solving skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Preferred
Certification such as CMRP, HVAC, or PLC programming
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
