Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for AI/ML integration, such as predictive maintenance or demand forecasting
Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., engineers, production managers, data scientists) to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for AI/ML solutions
Solution Design & Specification: Translate high-level business requirements into clear, comprehensive functional specifications and process flow diagrams for AI/ML model development and integration with existing ERP/MES systems
AI/ML Application & Integration: Work closely with data science and engineering teams to prototype and implement AI/ML models, ensuring they align with business objectives and can be deployed effectively in a production environment
Testing & Validation: Develop test plans and perform system testing/user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure AI/ML solutions meet business requirements and quality standards
Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor the performance of deployed AI systems, gather feedback from users, and recommend enhancements to improve model efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Training & Support: Develop training materials and provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective adoption of new AI-powered tools and processes
Innovation & Research: Stay current with the latest advancements in GenAI and ML technologies, proposing and implementing new AI-driven strategies to solve complex manufacturing problems more efficiently
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment having strong fundamentals of Gen AI and Machine learning
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance methodologies
7+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst in manufacturing domain and experience in data analysis, AI/ML projects, or related roles
Strong Fundamentals of AI/ML concepts, methodologies, and frameworks
Familiarity with data handling, preprocessing large datasets, and data visualization tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI model deployment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams
High degree of adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field
