Aditi Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant with specialized expertise in OpenShift Virtualization. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, guiding the architecture, deployment, and operationalization of virtual machines running side-by-side with containers on OpenShift.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of OpenShift Virtualization solutions to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements

Deployment: Install, configure, and tune OpenShift Virtualization operators and components on bare-metal or cloud-based OpenShift clusters

Migration Strategy: Plan and execute the migration of virtual machines from legacy platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Virtualization) to OpenShift using the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV)

Automation: Develop Ansible playbooks and pipelines to automate the provisioning, management, and lifecycle of virtual machines within the OpenShift environment

Performance Tuning: Optimize storage classes, networking (Mutlu’s CNI), and computing resources to ensure VMs perform optimally within a Kubernetes context

Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to client operations teams to ensure long-term stability and maintainability

Required

Deep expertise in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP): Extensive hands-on experience with OCP 4.x administration, installation, and upgrades

OpenShift Virtualization / KubeVirt: Proven experience implementing and managing VMs on Kubernetes using CNV/OpenShift Virtualization

Linux Administration: Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration

Networking & Storage: Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking (SDN, OVN-Kubernetes, Mutlu's) and persistent storage integration (ODF/OCS, NFS, CSI drivers)

Migration Tools: Experience with the Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV) or similar conversion tools

Automation: Proficiency Ansible Automation Platform
