The Judge Group is a leading financial services organization seeking an experienced Director of Employee Benefits to oversee strategy, administration, compliance, and optimization of health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs for a large workforce. This role involves managing vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving employee engagement through effective communication and benefit plan value.

Responsibilities

Lead the administration of employee benefit programs including health, ancillary, retirement, wellness, and time-off plans
Drive benefit strategy, planning, benchmarking, cost analysis, and vendor/broker negotiations
Oversee annual open enrollment including renewals, contracts, communications, and execution
Develop benefit communication strategies to increase employee understanding and engagement
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA
Manage required filings, audits, billing reconciliation, and cost control measures
Maintain HRIS/benefits platform integrity and process alignment
Provide leadership and development to benefits team members
Partner with senior leadership on benefits strategy and organizational priorities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of employee benefits administration experience, including health & welfare and retirement plans
Experience supporting organizations with 1,000+ employees
Strong knowledge of federal/state benefits regulations and compliance
Experience with HRIS and benefits enrollment systems
Advanced analytical, communication, and project management skills

Preferred

7+ years of people leadership preferred
Professional certifications preferred: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CCP, CEBS
