Responsibilities
Consistently work on complex maintenance assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve the equipment issues
Act independently to determine methods and procedures for addressing new or undocumented equipment issues
Perform equipment start-up, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance on production and R&D systems
This role will interact directly with process engineering and process technicians
Perform repairs and maintenance on semiconductor and panel process equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with specifications
Generate work instructions for maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance schedules
Perform root-cause troubleshooting of semiconductor and panel equipment
Assist with new equipment installation
Assist with equipment calibrations
Assist with recovery from equipment/facilities down events. This involves product recovery and tool re-qualification training
Expectation of role is the ability to operate the process equipment in the area of expertise
Act as a facilitator and team lead
Qualification
Required
2-year Engineering degree/background, military technical training or equivalent preferred
4- 6 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance preferred
Extensive knowledge of certain areas in a semiconductor environment (i.e. Photo, Deposition, Metrology, etc.)
Knowledge of basic machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. (i.e. vacuum pumps, leak checkers, hand tools, etc.)
Working knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Proficient in computer applications using Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
Must be physically able to lift to waist level and carry up to 40 pounds
Must be physically able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and crawl to reach work
Organized, neat, detail-oriented, conscientious, and thorough
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Flexibility in your work schedule and the ability to work overtime on short notice
