Responsibilities
Performing and coordinating all visual weld testing, coating testing within the facility
Reporting on progress of work in process, rework/repair orders, and production problems
Preparing reports following all weld inspections, coating inspections in accordance with order requirements
Performing audits
Utilize Fastfield and PosiTrack system as required
Performing equipment calibrations
Work on shop floor to support operations as required
All other duties as instructed by direct supervisor
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of VT Inspection Practices
Knowledge of UT Inspection Practices
Knowledge of AWS welding codes
Minimum 5 years of experience in the steel industry
Preferred
AWS QC1 Certified Welding Inspector Certification
Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems: Word, Excel, PP
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in FastField and PosiTrack
