Responsibilities

Support antibody discovery efforts by executing laboratory experiments related to library generation and panning campaigns

Assist with workflows including antibody characterization, engineering, humanization, affinity maturation, and all other lead optimization activities

Perform basic tissue culture operations to maintain, transfect, and harvest mammalian cell biomass

Produce high-quality, reliable data and maintain accurate, detailed laboratory records

Operate and maintain the relevant equipment

Maintain close collaborative interactions with colleagues within the research group and regularly communicate progress to the team or supervisors

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology or a related field (REQUIRED)

Minimum of 5 years of molecular biology experience (REQUIRED)

Minimum of 2 years of antibody discovery experience in the laboratory (REQUIRED)

Proficiency with cloning, sequencing, and using basic molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR, restriction enzymes)

Hands-on experience with phage display and/or yeast display

Demonstrated capability to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot experimental work in a laboratory

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate lab records

Preferred

Experience with library construction is a plus

Experience with bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis is a plus
