Responsibilities
Perform daily data quality checks on VaR, Stress, and other market risk measures
Identify and investigate drivers of changes in risk measures with stakeholders
Remediate data quality issues with Product Controllers and Market Risk Coverage
Research, resolve, and escalate inquiries from business, risk management, and audit
Maintain procedure manuals and ensure compliance with local regulations
Build partnerships with Market Risk, Product Control, Technology, Basel, Quantitative Research, and Reporting teams
Ensure processes meet SLAs efficiently and effectively
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of business processes and risk, with analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Able to prioritize workload and work independently with large data sets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to create and deliver training
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Team player, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels and across regions
Preferred
Basic understanding of VaR, Stress, and other Market Risk measures
Familiarity with PnL concepts and their relation to VaR
Experience with VBA or other coding languages
