Responsibilities

Hold a relevant JD and be admitted to the DC bar

A minimum of three years’ experience in a law firm setting

Experience with M&A tax planning, tax controversies, and state and local income tax matters is preferred

Solid experience with tax disputes including tax controversy, disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals

Strong organization and prioritization skills with the confidence and knowledge to synthesize information and work independently is a bonus but not required

Ability to demonstrate excellent client communication skills, client awareness, and proofreading capabilities, as the suitable candidate will have direct contact with clients
