Ad Ops Specialist
Headlight is a full-stack performance marketing agency focused on helping apps and web platforms scale efficiently. They are seeking an Ad Ops Specialist to manage the technical execution and operational integrity of paid media campaigns, ensuring everything runs smoothly from setup to post-launch monitoring.

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end campaign setup and QA across platforms including Meta, Google Ads/UAC, TikTok, Snap, Apple Search Ads, and DSPs
Ensure accurate implementation of tracking, naming conventions, conversion events, and account structure across app and web funnels
Partner closely with Performance Marketing Managers, Creative, and Analytics teams to launch campaigns quickly and correctly
Manage creative trafficking at scale, including asset QA, versioning, specs, approvals, and platform-specific requirements
Monitor campaigns post-launch to catch pacing, delivery, tracking, or data integrity issues before they impact performance
Maintain operational best practices for account hygiene, including structure audits, change logs, and documentation
Support experimentation by setting up A/B tests, geo-splits, incrementality tests, and new platform betas
Help evolve internal systems, automation, and workflows that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
Stay current on platform changes that affect ad delivery, tracking, creative specs, or reporting
Qualification
Required
2–4+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Media Operations, or Performance Marketing execution
Hands-on experience setting up and managing campaigns across major paid acquisition platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
Strong understanding of tracking and attribution concepts across app and web (MMPs, GA4, pixels, SDKs, SKAN)
High attention to detail—you catch issues others miss and take pride in clean execution
Comfort working with spreadsheets and data (Excel/Sheets, QA checks, pacing reviews, data validation)
Experience working alongside media buyers, creatives, and analytics teams in a fast-moving environment
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities without things slipping
Clear communicator who flags risks early and brings solutions, not surprises
Preferred
experience with automation tools, scripts, naming systems, or large-scale creative testing workflows
