Pediatric Development Counselor - Child Study Center

Responsibilities
Provide evaluation and assessment for children referred for psychological services, behavior problems, disabilities, medical conditions, and trauma
Provides individual and group therapy for children and their caregivers
Prepares reports stating findings, recommendations, etc
Responsible for taking referrals and scheduling intake assessments
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in relevant healthcare field
3 or more years of experience required
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Oklahoma
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to negotiate, problem solve and make decisions in order to make patients and families have trust with the treatment
Ability to understand how children of different ages and developmental stages express their thoughts, emotions, and fears
Ability to effectively form connections and positive relationships with children
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
Experience in a clinical assessment setting with children from birth to twelve years of age preferred
