Responsibilities

SAP System Administration & Support
Monitor daily SAP application health and system performance
Troubleshoot functional and technical issues; escalate to Basis or vendor support as needed
Support SAP modules used by the business (e.g., MM, FI/CO, SD, HR, etc.) depending on organizational needs
User & Security Administration
Create, update, and maintain SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations
Develop and manage SAP roles across Development, QA, and Production environments
Support SOX audits through control execution and documentation
Change & Release Management
Assist with transports across environments; ensure appropriate approvals and documentation
Support project teams in testing new features, enhancements, and patches
Participate in release planning and environment readiness checks
Incident, Request & Ticket Management
Manage SAPrelated tickets via ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform
Provide timely updates to users, resolve issues, and ensure SLAs are met
Compliance, Audit & Documentation
Perform recurring SOX, security, and compliance walkthroughs
Maintain documentation for processes, system changes, and access controls
Ensure adherence to internal IT governance policies
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Partner with functional, audit, compliance, and infrastructure teams to support initiatives
Identify system improvements, automation opportunities, or process

Required

5+ years of experience supporting SAP applications
Solid understanding of SAP security concepts, user administration, and role design
Experience with ticketing systems
Familiarity with SOX controls and audit requirements
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, Agile environments and adapt to evolving business needs
