Start in 2026 SpringThe Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Global Development and Innovation Microbiology Intern for their Summer Internship program at their headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The intern will work with the North America R&D Center on microbiological lab activities to support innovation projects in beverage development.

Responsibilities
Predictive modeling and determination of cardinal values of spoilage organism growth in high acid beverages.
Exploring the microbiological sensitivity of different juice ingredients used in similar beverage formulations.
Learn about the micro hazards in formulated acid/high acid and acidified beverages.
Learn different manufacturing processes used at industrial scale including thermal and non-thermal processes to produce beverages
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in food science, Food Microbiology, Food Safety Microbiology, Food Engineering, or equivalent fields or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025
