This role supports the sales and design team, focusing on designing luxury outdoor living spaces and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities
Design and develop landscape and hardscape concepts using tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Lumion, and HubSpot
Create detailed plans for outdoor living projects including pools, kitchens, patios, grading, drainage, and horticultural selections
Collaborate closely with the sales team (who handle onsite measurements and client-facing duties)
Visit nurseries, suppliers, and vendors to source and recommend plants and materials
Ensure design work aligns with client expectations, company values, and regional standards
Support ~80 projects per year, ranging from small refreshes to large, multi-month builds
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of residential landscaping or landscape architecture/design experience
Proficiency with CAD and design software (SketchUp required)
Strong knowledge of the Charlotte/Carolina market, including plant varieties, horticulture, grading, and drainage
Valid driver's license
Ability to balance creativity with practical project execution
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
Professional registration as a Landscape Architect/Designer
Familiarity with Buildertrend or HubSpot
