Responsibilities

Participate in preparation of scholarly publications, presentations, and research reports based on appropriate application of theories and analysis of the research data
Contribute to the design of the research. As needed, assist in data collection, coding of data, and maintenance of research records and databases
Collaborate with and oversee Bush School students on research projects, clearly explain research needs, and train in necessary data collection, coding of data, and data maintenance

Required

Appropriate PhD
No prior experience required
Demonstrated thorough knowledge of statistical research methods and analysis of data using a variety of multivariate and multilevel techniques
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based, multidisciplinary environment
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Ability to professionally and clearly communicate academic research to audiences with varying levels of subject-matter knowledge

Preferred

PhD in a social science discipline, preferably economics, that links to Policy Analysis, Public Policy, International Economics, and Labor Economics with demonstrated ability to link to policy issues and application of appropriate research methods
Experience with analyzing data, especially dealing with trade, global supply chains, or labor markets
Ability to professionally and clearly communicate academic research to audiences with varying levels of subject-matter knowledge
