Responsibilities

Working in conjunction with Trade Compliance Team create, implement, measure and update Trade Compliance Procedures as needed
Communicate with Customs Brokers and provide needed information/documentation to ensure smooth cross-border flow of shipments both proactively and in real-time as needed
Determine correct HTS classifications for ongoing database construction and in real-time for Customs Brokers/current shipments as needed
Perform Post-Entry Review process to check accuracy of data submitted by Customs Brokers to CBP
Support Supply Chain team by fielding inquiries on general shipment activities
Create visibility on activities and performance through development and reporting of relevant KPIs
Participate in Customs continuous improvement workshops with Customs Compliance team - defining roles, recalibration of responsibilities, etc
Participate in the preparation of C-TPAT company re-certification, Establish and/or refresh processes in line with C-TPAT requirement evolution
Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, Logistics, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
5+ years of experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, or global trade—ideally within automotive or manufacturing
You have 3+ years of experience working with U.S. Customs regulations

Preferred

Custom's Broker license is preferred, but not required
