Responsibilities
Administer Oracle databases (11g, 12c), including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
Perform performance monitoring, tuning, and database optimization
Design database schemas, data models, indexes, and storage strategies
Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
Implement and support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, ASM, and ACFS
Conduct capacity planning, scaling, and availability planning
Support full SDLC and collaborate with development teams
Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and reporting
Follow ITIL/ITSM, DevOps, and managed services operational practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
7+ years in a development or service administration role
5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture and physical structures
Hands-on experience with RMAN, RAC, GoldenGate, and Oracle installations
Experience working closely with development teams
Exposure to ITIL, ITSM, DevOps, or SOA models
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
