Responsibilities
Prepare and file individual (1040), partnership (1065), and corporate (1120) tax returns
Conduct tax planning, including projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations
Resolve IRS and state tax notices, while supporting clients through tax authority interactions
Manage client workloads and deadlines with minimal supervision
Communicate with clients throughout the year for tax needs, estimates, planning conversations, and follow-up questions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Active CPA or EA license
Strong skills in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional client-facing demeanor
Organized, process-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Ability to independently manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple clients
Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks, Lacerte, and/or CCH Axcess
Exposure to international tax matters, including Forms 2555 and 1116, FATCA, and other foreign income reporting requirements
