Responsibilities
Create daily content: Short-form videos, photos, graphics, written posts
Appear on camera: Product spotlights, behind-the-scenes content, trade show coverage, "Metrology Mythbusters," shop floor series
Capture content on-site: In our showroom, labs, events, and manufacturing partner locations
Edit and publish: Maintain daily posting rhythm with efficient turnaround
Engage community: Respond to comments, identify customer questions, build brand awareness
Track performance: Monitor engagement, follower growth, click-through rates, lead quality
Develop content calendar with minimal direction
Proactively identify industry trends, conversations, and story opportunities
Pitch new content concepts regularly
Collaborate with Product Managers, Applications Engineers, and Sales
Provide performance insights and strategic recommendations
Qualification
Required
3-5 years creating social media content (experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or technical industries preferred)
On-camera experience with confident, clear communication style
Consistent content creation history - demonstrated ability to maintain regular posting schedules
Photography, videography, and editing skills - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) or equivalent
Experience creating educational or informational content alongside promotional material
Technical communication skills - ability to learn and translate engineering/technical topics into accessible content
Strong organizational skills and comfort working to deadlines
Proactive, self-directed work style - identifies opportunities and takes initiative
Comfort appearing on camera as brand spokesperson
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, machining, engineering, robotics, metrology, or industrial technology sectors
Experience working with subject matter experts (engineers, product managers) to validate technical accuracy
Analytics tools and social advertising platform experience
Trade show or product demonstration environment experience
Understanding of how to use AI tools efficiently (while knowing their limitations)
