Database Engineer Skill Level 2
Kaizen Approach, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Database Engineer responsible for providing technical expertise in database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis. The role involves developing relational and Object-Oriented databases, and engaging in system improvements and optimizations throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Must have the ability to support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities
Must possess the ability to support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts
Must be capable of supporting the development of long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design
Must have the ability to assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software
Must possess the ability to translate a set of requirements and data into a usable database schema by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros, updating existing queries, and creating new ones to manipulate data into a master file
Must be capable of assisting in developing database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
Must have the ability to lead the development of database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
Must be capable of leading the development of databases, database parser software, and database loading software
Qualification
Required
Must have the ability to support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities
Must possess the ability to support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts
Must be capable of supporting the development of long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design
Must have the ability to assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software

Must be capable of leading the development of databases, database parser software, and database loading software
Must have five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer (DBE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, and a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
