Responsibilities
Directly responsible for ensuring the quality of Apple's customer support experience, focusing on consistent functionality, performance, and stability
Understanding new and existing feature implementations to craft informed and robust testing charters
Authoring test scenarios, scripts, and plans, and then executing functional, performance, and stability testing
Writing and reviewing automation test scripts
Identifying and reporting defects with first-level root cause analysis and consistent reproduction steps
Championing quality efforts by collaborating with test automation engineering, product management, and engineering program teams
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience in software quality assurance testing
Expertise with tools like Selenium, RestAssured, Protractor, Appium, XCode, Charles, Git etc
Proficiency in one or multiple languages such as Python, Java, Swift, Ruby etc
Preferred
Experience testing iOS native and Safari-based web applications
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practical experience integrating automated tests for continuous feedback
Attention to detail. A passion to get the little things right
