Responsibilities
Writes professional, compliant proposals to be submitted to Government customers
Works with technical Subject Matter Experts to gather technical solution data and communicate it within the context of a proposal
Communicates in a professional and credible manner
Writes persuasively and articulately for internal and external audiences with proper grammar and overall professionalism
Research topics and gathers necessary information to understand basics of a topic and then be able to communicate it to a new audience in speech or writing
Edits already written technical/business detail to improve and/or make more concise
Creates basic PowerPoint slide decks of varying purposes
Creates basic graphics/charts via standardized programs (e.g., Draw.io, Illustrator, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Candidate must have Bachelor's degree from an Accredited College or University
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Candidate must have 3+ years experience with the following: DoD or other relevant GovCon proposal writing experience
Candidate must have 3+ years experience with the following: Interpreting RFPs, RFIs, other government requests/proposals, etc
Candidate must have 3+ years experience with the following: Knowledge of pricing and formatting of gov't proposal efforts
Preferred
Preferred degree in a field requiring extensive writing
Attention to detail
Ability to read and follow specific instructions for document creation
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to varying audiences
Ability to meet deadlines without direct management
